It's SCIENCE.

I know i haven't posted in a long while, and i suck and all, but y'all have to go and look at this thing on Kristy's blog. I am obsessed for some reason. GO. It's ever so cool.
And i am a dork.

Left-Brain / Right-Brain Freaky Spinning Girl Thing

Come back and tell me what you see. Cause i have to know.
My answer is in her comments, but i'll put it in my comments, too.

I don't want to contaminate your observations by telling you before you look at it.

GO. NOW.

  • I have always been pretty certain that i'm left-brained. That being said, i saw clockwise right away and couldn't make it go the other way.

However, after staring at the shadow of her feet and forcing myself to imagine it going counter-clockwise, that was all i could see.

After taking a little break and going back, it was all clockwise again. Now, since i've been stupid-obsessed with it, i can make it change at will.

I do not know what this says about my brained-ness.

  • I only looked at it for a few seconds, but it looked like it was moving clockwise to me.

  • When I first opened up the page, I only saw the image from the waist up, and it was definitely going counter-clockwise. Then I scrolled down to see the whole image, and all I could see was clockwise. Huh.

(I'm pretty demonstrably left-brained, whether or not I've been validated by a random internet image.)

  • clockwise.
plus she is hopping up and down a couple of inches at the same time. no kidding, that's what I saw.
i've been tested and supposedly I have a high degree of right-left brain integration. so my brain goes to the same school as minority brains, and the naked chick is twirling and hopping.

    GAAAAAAAAAAH. THANKS!

  • I meant to post this days ago but whoops. Anyway, here I am now. I saw it clockwise and couldn't see it any other way, but do not really think I am right-brained. Then later I went back and by scrolling slowly so at first I could only see the top of her head, I saw it counterclockwise for a few seconds. Torsten now thinks I'm insane because he only sees it clockwise and is convinced that it can't go the other way.
